Home Child Care Bookkeeping

Home Day Care Bookkeeping

One of the best ways to keep records for your home child care business is to keep it simple. For instance, keep a binder that is divided into various sections. Be sure to write down all of your expenses and keep reciepts.

One section can be for recording food expenses. This section can be for groceries and other food related items for the kitchen. Keep reciepts and bills that are to be paid.

Another section can be for advertising fees. This will include news paper ads, radio spots, and other types of advertising related to generating new business.

New toys and games can have its own category too. Kids furnituring, blankets, pillows and other sundry items can go here.

A second binder can be used for income. One section can be for regular weekly kids and another section can be for drop-offs.

The secret to sucessful Home child Care Bookkeeping is to record everything. Remember, no job is complete until the paper work is done.
